On 14 February (Valentine’s day) we are going to sell roses made from sweets. Celia has made the first one. Sergio and Álvaro talked to Carmen Conde and we are authorised to start selling.

We were talking about the news. Mobility is important in the entrepreneurial culture (for example) to get a job. American people move a lot, to get better jobs. Maybe, the best place to create an IT company is in Silicone Valley (California).
Asturias is the place in Spain with the least mobility.
The Dominican Republic’s deputy minister said that Oviedo is a very green and clean city. (News about entrepreneurship)
Lucía Prado, Sandra Laria, Jaime, Álvaro and Yolanda gave their presentation about Mediaset. The most powerful media company in Spain.
Carmen Conde accepted our project. She allowed us to sell biscuits in primary and secondary stages.

Tomorrow, Sergio and Álvaro are going to talk with the headmistress to ask her if we are authorised to sell the cookies and chocolates. On Friday,the commercial department are going to tell everybody about our project. We will send two little boxes (1,50€) and another bigger one (2,50€)

Everybody attended the class. We talked about SECOT, which is an organization that helps young people to develop their project(business). José Luis Carripio is the richest man in the Dominican Republic. He’s from Asturias and he’s about eighty years old. Alsa is also very important in China. Javi M, Dani C, Wuilmer and Pablo Á. haven’t paid yet! It’s sure! We are going to have contact with a company from Ecuador. Finally, we won’t organize the raffle of the basket. but we are looking for new ideas…

Alejandra and Daniel C. didn’t attend the class. We learned what marketing is. Marketing is the process of identifying and anticipating the needs of consumers and generate products or services that satisfy those needs with a view to obtaining a profit. We’ve got our own logotype of the company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alejandro Laviada’s logotype was chosen as the final logotype with 8 points. We talked about how the company is going. We will have a raffle of a christmas basket. The cheapest won with 11 points.

Everybody attended the class. We were doing some book exercises (you can find the link on the blog). In those exercises we learned how to make a good logotype and we watched some examples. We remembered our tasks too (our logotype of the company, the companies’ work and more about entrepreneurs). Finally, we watched a video: «What is an entrepreneur?» These are some of the answers: entrepreneurs do what they want to do, they are brave, crazy, optimistic, they don’t care about what other people say… We had a little time to work on our projects.

Everybody attended the class. We read some stories about entrepreneurs, and all of them shared the same moral idea, opinion, way of thinking: It isn’t easy to be an entrepreneur! The explanation finished with the next//following question: Does Asturias have an entrepreneurial spirit? And the answer is… Yes! We had to fill a card with our own datum. Finally, we had a lot of time to work in our projects

Eliseo didn’t attend the class. We made another review of what we learned the last day. We learned more information about companies and how they work. We thought the name of the cooperative will be called «EJE-cutivos». The last day to finish the companies’ work is on the 22nd October. We have to do another project about an entrepeneur . Jose Antonio gave us an example: He talked to us about Amancio Ortega,and how an entrepeneur should be. The last day to finish it is on the 12th November.

Lucía Gala didn’t attend the class. Jose Antonio read my report of the last day. We saw an interesting video which showed us the positive side of the current crisis, many companies are successful in other countries, BBVA and Santander bank are one of the best banks in the world, this crisis increased the entrepeneurial spirit… We were thinking about who could be the president and other different company positions. Finally we were looking for information about companies.

First of all we made a little review of the many different contents that we have studied so far: GIP, YEC origins… Then, we started an introduction to the Economy. We remembered that we have to pay ten euros to start the company and we learned the bases to become a great one. We are doing new homework now, we have to search for information about a company that we like.
